Call Ray at Pickup's Plus. One of the most honest men you will ever meet. And his prices are some of the lowest in town and he does great work

There are several Good Mechanics in town and there are a ton of cheap mechanics in town.

Finding one that is both good and cheap may be a problem

They are really good!

Sevcik's has been great for us. They've done many repairs for me that have fixed problems that were far less extensive or expensive than I expected.

Sweet Kitten Feet, it's appreciated, but this has been something that has been being attempted to be diagnosed for a while now that he's having trouble getting diagnosed over the phone...

I really like C & L auto on Texas Avenue. They've always been very fair with me and do good work. Their number is 979-775-5842.

The catch is that there are two C&L Autos right next to one another...when you pull into the lot this one is this one on the left. :-)

Brazos Valley Automotive at Longmire and Ponderosa has been good to me.

I've used two places in town... Sevcik's was good while Car-Doc was very, very bad.

Rodriquez on William J. Bryan. Very inexpensive and good.

What flavor truck is it?

I always recommend Pickups Plus for auto work and Ray's other place Lube Stop for oil changes.

The prices are reasonable and the work is good. I have taken several cars to Ray over the past 12 years and have always been satisfied with the work and consider Ray Davila to be an honest competent mechanic. He has a staff of mechanics, but is always quick to approach the customer and discuss the vehicle/work.

I appreciate all the suggestions guys! I think I may give it one last try on my own, and if that doesnt work I'll choose one from the list yall have provided!
