search for "carboy" on the web, they are used for homebrewing beer. they don't cost a lot of money.

I've got a couple that I use for brewing. I've no idea where you'll find any free ones. good luck

Thanks code-dog.
Yeah, I have looked for carboys but they are a little pricey at my income level. I am brewing too, right now wine but hope to try my first beer soon

Glass is nice...but def not required. The 5 gallon water containers you get your drinking water are more than sufficient and you don't have to worry about breakage. I spent over a year going to garage sales and antique shops, carboys don't exist outside of the internet and homebrew shops anymore.

I have been garage saleing too. No luck with the bottles but many other treasures. I don't trust the plastics for long term secondary (tertiary) Fermenting. I get my water from plastics though so...

Try all the antiquing places on 71 between Brenham and La Grange. If you can't find them their, they don't exist.

Thanks AggieBarstool,
Sounds like fun. I will suggest a road trip to the lady.
