If anyone is interested in January deer hunting we are looking for another package hunter. Its an inexpensive opportunity to see a 10K highly managed low fence ranch in Mexico. $2500 is the cost plus $200 for the tag. Eight point up to 140" qualifies. There can be opportunities for better deer than that once we have been down there and see what is available. Nailgi are now prevalent on the ranch unfortunatly, but the landowner wants them all shot so that is always an option if someone wants to kill one of them. Just shoot me a message and we can discuss further details if interested.

Sounds like a heck of a deal sir! I got to hunt on a company invite one time in the interior of Mexico on a big ranch long time ago. It was unbelievable the quality of deer.
Having that opportunity and also to be able to get a Nilgai is a heck of a deal for someone for sure!

Yes sir and inexpensive way to see the ranch and how we manage it. When a spot opens up that is usually how we fill it with past package hunters that were interested.

The person would be hunting as a non-member with a target sized deer(management) available to harvest.

If you are hunting Nilgai in Mexico, you'll need a CITES permit. The requirement changed in 2024 or 2025.

Yes we can do nailgi hunts. That permit isn't required in the state that we are in. Just a $25 tag that our landowner will have.

How come folks have such difficulty spelling Nilgai?
Seen two threads with them wrong

My neighbor rancher was from Cuba and talking to him was a kick with his accent.
He sounded just like Ricci Ricardo from the Lucy show.
He always heavily pronounced it "Nil-Jy"
Seeing this makes me remember and laugh about it.

We had a guy call them Na-gal-ee when the first and only one showed up at our lease. I think that's worse than the two misspelled version I have seen here.
