So, my boys a freshman at Blinn in Bryan and on his way to work at the barn tonight his wheel almost fell off. Looks like all but one of the lug nuts/bolts sheered off.
Having him towed back to his apartment but looking for advice on a shop and what will need to be done to get him going again.

No shops open till Monday morning so will have to tow it again to a shop on Monday.

We live in Houston so trying to come up with a game plan.

Might be some jerk out there doesn't like him loosened lug nuts

Might still have a stock set on lug bolts/ nuts for a 2016 F150. I remember keeping the originals when my kid got new tires and wheels 6 years ago.

So is it just the lug nuts that unscrewed, but the bolts themselves are still there/full length? If bolts are still full length, maybe find a set of nuts on Amazon.

If bolts are also messed up, do the above and also buy a new hub assembly (can be had same day at most auto part stores for sub $200 most likely). Its a reasonably straightforward process if mechanically comfortable.

Yea had a front right wheel and tire came off my daughters HS Jeep. Fortunately she was doing about 15 turning onto a side street off 281 in Marble Falls. Coincidentally the shop that had balanced and rotated and aligned her Jeep a week before for a trip to the coast, did not remove wheel.
Anyhoo, took a nut off other three wheels and got it to a shop.

Thanks for everything guys. I'm gonna call Brazos valley automotive in the morning and talk to them and get it towed over there. All but one bolt is sheared off.

How is that even possible?
