Haven't seen post yet but pretty good push of teal around our properties and was wondering if everyone else is seeing the same thing. Hearing buddies in Cajun country and Oklahoma also having good numbers so hopefully the 9 day season continues to produce good shoots and just not opening weekend. Good luck to those if you going out to fight mosquitoes and other swamp nasties this weekend.
Wish we could get a whistler duck season like Louisiana definitely hope we get that in the near future!

Hearing our numbers are good but more birds concentrated by the coast. I'll report back after this weekend. Not excited about the temps this weekend and really not excited about hunting close to the coast because of the gators in almost all of the ponds... always nervous about a gator snatching my dog but hopefully we'll stay in shallow enough water and will avoid deep water retrieves.

I'll let you know if they're on non-rice water in the Eagle Lake area Saturday at 9.

I hope better than last year. We shot limits on opening day, then the rest of the season was about 2 BPM.

Whatever you're hunting just remember, Hector is going to be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. And on top of that, he just came into Harry's and he ordered three T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust!

Have had a few flocks on my spots in recent days. Cant hunt them without burning the deer out so they get a free pass. Guess Im getting old because Ive skipped teal for 5-6 years now and haven't missed it a bit. Hard to get motivated to sit in the heat when Ive been out in it for the last five months of summer. Ready for that first front!
