I've probably asked this before, but I have forgotten.

Any ideas for getting rid of this beast outside of hand removal, torch, or glyphosate?

2 ounces of Orange oil to 1 gallon 20% vinegar. Add some molasses and it will be dead in 2-3 days.

I've had luck doing the following:

1) mow before it seeds out
2) get a piece of sheet plastic- like a cheap as hell thin flimsy plastic cutting board - and trim it into a 3" wide long strip. Use it to create a circular piece, taping the ends together.
3) set circle on top of the cut KR "stump"/mound.
4) spray round up inside the circle

The plastic piece serves as a shield for your other turf grass. Round up is low drift, but this will help reduce over spray.

The only luck I have had is to mow it regularly. I let it put its seed head out and then I mow. I have not won the battle in the 6 years I have been in my house but I am seeing a lot less of it.
