Does anyone use this combo. Does it really work. Can you sit in your deer stand scrolling through last night's pig pictures then press a button and then spread a little corn?

I dont use this combo but I do have remotes installed on some of my feeders. Works like a charm.

I have "The Remote" installed on just about every feeder I own and highly recommend them. I have shot pigs, deer, and other vermin (aoudad) that would not have presented a shot had I not hit the remote.

I have 2 feeders with the WiFi timers on them which includes a remote and built in regulator for solar panel. Once I realized you needed a bigger solar panel (ideally a 5w or larger) they seem to work great.

OP,

Not sure on the moultrie remote just sharing my opinion on remotes in general.

I have a buddy that did a little redneck ingenuity. He has a Reolink cellular PTZ camera that he can turn all the way a certain direction that will then activate a button to spin the feeder. I think he superglued some sort of stick to it to activate the feeder control.

It looks like All Season now offers a cellular based timer you can adjust remotely.

I use them. It works but depends a lot on cell signal. It's also nice to update the feeders settings from home on the app.

The-Remote..made by elusive wildlife I believe. I order them from amazon for the free shipping and next day service.

I got a bunch of ASF branded remotes. Damn things would eat the feeder battery because they were constantly looking for a signal. Of course ASF knew it was a problem so they just put them on sale to clear them out rather than pulling them.

That's how the WiFi ones are but if you use a 5w or even 10w solar panel, they're good to go. They both are through batteries in a season with only a standard 1.7w panel on there.

The good news is they have a built in regulator so no need to wire that in.

Friend of mine uses the moultrie and likes them. Although he's had to replace three in the last couple months due to a woodpecker destroying the IR sensor.
I can neither confirm nor deny there is a bounty on said woodpecker..

Typical for ASF. They cost me a lot of $$$$ on poorly designed timed 2000lb bulk feeders years back. I mean a lot of $$$$.
