I've got both. Starlink Mini requires a fee but it also depends on where you are as it has to get the signal.
In areas with a lot of tall trees around/close to a highway I have found it to lose signal. Also going under some bridges and especially the older metal suspension type of bridges like on IH-10 at Baton Rouge it loses signal.
The other issue I've experienced with the mini is if you travel a lot and use it daily you eventually have to secure it.
Laying it on your dash is fine until you make a hard turn or such and throw it off.
Using and trying both I still prefer the weboost for simplicity and reliabilityā¦.but maybe just depends on where and how much you are going to need it.
