My scenario:
* Starlink router installed in metal spray foam building
* WiFi - very strong inside not so much outside
* 4 - Security cameras ~ 40' - 100' from house
* closest camera has 60 dBm furthest has 81 dBM
+ 65-70 dBm is acceptable
* lived in RV while house was being built w Starlink router in the RV. it powered a camera ~300 feet away.
* the metal building is blocking the WiFi range.
Looking for a completely wireless solution to extend my WiFi outside of the metal building.
* I have tried a TP Link directional wireless extender that is an interior install that you put in a window. It didn't work well.
My continued research is pointing me towards a WAVLINK exterior extender.
Does anyone have experience w this situation? Your solution? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
