Holy Crap, guy! It seems you know something (or a whole lot!) about just about everything! I've known lots "of those" in the past, but you, sir back your talk up with facts and receipts!

I just came from the low water crossing thread. On that one, just as on countless others, you weigh in with deep knowledge and very complete, first-hand, experience based advice. It's to the benefit of all of us, and I wanted to publicly say "thanks!"

Thank you sir. Those are very kind words. There are lots of fellas on the OB that humble me everyday with their knowledge. I just hope I can help a fellow Aggie in some way. Hopefully I can add something of benefit on some topics.
I've been blessed with a good life by God and try to pay it back.
I'm privileged to be able to be on TA on the OB and be in the company of genuinely fine folks all.
The people I have got to meet personally on TA have been the finest in my long years for sure.

Gunny is consistently the best poster on the Outdoor thread and one of the main reasons I come back. He has helped me immensely with my own ranch and navigating all of the obstacles associated with creating a viable management plan. And the man is Aggie, through and through.

Eh....he needs another year.....

Let me just tell you guys.....
I met gunny thru the OB a few years ago. I'm also one of the small group that has met him in person. We also have a mutual friend in common we found out when discussing boats...and that mutual friend thinks the world of gunny as well
Great guy and his other half is just as awesome
Very intelligent
Puts others before self

Aggie thru and thru!! Wish we didn't live 9 hours apart so we could visit more and drink nice whiskey

My wife and I are very fortunate that our planned move to the Ozarks for the fly fishing and hiking had the unplanned bonus of living 45 minute away from Gunny, Mrs. Gunny, the Real Gunny (a horse) and the beautiful ranch they live at.

The marine business crashed right after Covid and during the Biden years. All segments were affected accept the super expensive large go fast boats like Cigarette, MTI, Skater, etc. Also larger size 30-36' Center Console markets did well. Wake boats also kinda held their own due to the growing popularity of them.
All other types and segments of the industry were really bad.
However, all segments, with the exception of the runabout and pontoon/tritoon markets, have seen a real uptick in business this year….Especially fishing boat companies. Many companies reporting good back logs and new orders.
Many manufacturers making investments in building new models etc.
