Does Honda make a good UTV, esp seating 5-6 folks? I never see any suggestions on them. Many of the online reviews seem to be ai written.

I drive a Honda pioneer 1000 for work. It is the best machine out there from a mechanical perspective. I really like the mechanical automotive transmission with no drive belt. The ride and comfort are not as good as some others.

We have had a pioneer 1000-5 since around 2021 and love it, that was before they had the two row ones. I have heard they updated the transmissions a bit to make them smoother. Buy with confidence as it's a Honda!

have the 700-4. No issues. I will echo the above quotes. Mechanically one of the best. Others may be more plush. They did not have the two row permanent SXS when I bought mine. Would not hesitate to buy another.

I read Honda has a new model coming out this fall with a full cab, AC and heat.
I looked at the Honda before buying a Kawasaki a couple years ago and there was not enough leg room for me when driving. Just not comfortable for my 6'2 frame

Many thanks for the replies. I need dependability more than comfort.

Drove a Pioneer all over the mountains at the Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch north of Fort Davis for about 5 days earlier this year. My next machine will be a Pioneer 1000 6 seater. They are sweet rigs.

I'll never buy any ATV with a soul sucking CVT, so Honda and certain Yamahas would be the only side by sides I'd consider.

Stopped at cycle shack north in Conroe yesterday and I was surprised to see all of the inventory and sales prices on the Hondas. They did not have a timeline for the arrival of the hvac model. I took a photo of the tag on the single bench seat model 700 and the 6 seat 1000.
Regular Honda rancher 4 wheeler was about the same price we bought one for in 2017.

That 700 is a pretty good value for 2026. No DCT, but I'd rather have a torque converter automatic than a soulsucking CVT.

Can't tell if your trying to imply that the 2026 pioneer 700 has a CVT or not as if you are saying it does you might do a bit of research.

Sorry if I worded that poorly, but I know it has a torque converter automatic unlike the DCT in the 1000. I despise the CVT transmissions every other manufacturer uses.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.
