Howdy - my wife and I are headed to Key West next weekend on a last minute trip for Memorial Day. We are looking for a good charter for the two of us to catch fish to have someone cook up for dinner one night.
Wondering if anyone knows of a good guide down there. Maybe there is an Aggie guide service we can support.

I appreciate your help.

Hey,
you should be able to find some really good options down there, especially for a fun half or 3/4 day trip where you can keep some snapper, grouper, mahi, or whatever's in season for dinner.

Biggest thing I'd recommend is finding a captain that communicates clearly about what's been biting lately and whether they focus more on reef/inshore fishing or offshore trips. If your goal is fresh fish for dinner instead of an all-day hardcore offshore run, definitely mention that when booking.

I'd also check recent catch photos/reports instead of just star ratings. Usually gives you a better feel for who's actually fishing consistently.

Sounds like a great Memorial Day trip. Hope y'all get into some fish and a good dockside dinner afterward.

Don't have anything to add other than we love Key West. Was there last month.
I'm jealous! Enjoy!

It's been a few years, but we had a great experience with Capt. Andy of Last Cast Charters. He's out of Cudjoe Key, so about a 20-30 minute drive from Key West.
