Looks like we'll be in Florida in early June. I've never fished Florida Atlantic coast. I think it is shorter boat ride to blue water. Probably going to be my son and I only. Would like private boat and go offshore. We have done some fishing. Don't go regularly.

We will probably be Fort Pierce or Port st Lucie area. Looking for advice, ideas and captain/boat suggestions.

Bumping this to see if anyone has fished over there.

Go down to Stuart area and chase huge snook. State record Speckled trout was also caught in the Indian river lagoon near fort pierce. I believe they also catch a lot of Sailfish out of the Stuart inlet as well. No good recs on specific guides.
