At about the end of stockshow season, I found HLSR Hey Dudes for sale on facebook. Now I only buy through sketchy sites with PayPal because it makes me feel better. $59. I mean it's on sale but reasonable - not so cheap it's obviously a scam. Anyway. They arrived…

Fake hey dudes. Pure plastic. So flimsy they won't even stay on my feet when walking

So what to do with them?

Excellent idea!

I'm not sure I want to go to many more weddings. I'm in that phase that 50% or more of weddings I've attended resulted in divorce. Of my Aggie deer camp group, I am the only one of 6 that hasn't been divorced!

1) New Balance shoes had a popular run with Gen Z, at least recently, per my 22 yo daughter and her boyfriend. I asked her why she was wearing her grandfather's shoe brand at the time, and was told what's what.

2) I was looking at Banana Republic online the other day, and they are selling braided belts! I showed my wife because I hadn't seen one at a store like that since around the time I graduated in '97.

Reminds me of a wise old saying:
" I complained about having no shoes until I met the man who had no feet".

Donate them to someone who truly needs some footwear.

Then be less cheap. We are all more blessed than we know.
