Tne ol' farm and ranch in me is giving me a little cheer in my soul with this rain.

Popo, in his very heavy Czech accent would always say, " Never cuss a rain, shortly you will be begging for it!"

I love the smell of a freshly plowed field after a rain or even the smell of a good rain coming on.

Little things that make a country boy happy!

Bring it on. Will likely be inconvenient at times but I'm praying for a wet af summer season.

From what I've read and seen, we will still have our hot and dry typical summer. It will just be bookended by rain, and quite a bit of it. Nothing wrong with that.

I'll allow it.

I need a few 4-6" rains at my place. Built a tank over 2 years ago, and I still have about 4' to go before it is full. I have received nice spread out soaking rains over the last two years, but no major run-off!

This weather. I don't know if I should be getting the duck decoys out or heading to the bait barn for live bream to set in the river.

River for sure... oh the memories

between setting lines in the Colorado above Lake Buchanan and the San Gabriel River above Granger Lake just after a big rain, goodness those were fun times.

Check the rain thread and comment with your totals.

I'm got reports of 3-4.5" in different parts of frio county. I don't keep up with the rain in Houston since I don't care about "city rain" but it's basically rained off an on since 4 this AM

Maybe it's just me but I wish they didn't sticky the rain thread. I never even glance at it anymore. When it wasn't a sticky it would pop up to the top and made me curious to see who was getting it and who was *****ing about not getting it.

Man I completely agree with this. I never think about it anymore.
