I often reference this board when I'm looking for a new book.

I did just that when I was asked for some Christmas ideas and I stumbled across an old recommendation for the book - The Emerald Mile.

My word what a great book! Maybe my favorite book that I have read in the last 5-10 years.

Tremendous mix of history, adventure, and even some geological information.

I'm sure a lot of you on here have read it, but if you haven't, I'd highly recommend picking it up.
