Worms in deer: nasal bots?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
First time I've seen these, a wad of them in the esophagus. Gross, but apparently harmless, best I can determine they are nasal bots.
Anyone think otherwise?

Many deer have them. If you've ever done a home euro mount, you've likely seen them. Pretty creepy looking too.

Anytime I'm now hunting and I hear them sort of snort I imagine it's them trying to clear them from their throats.
