idk about everyone else, but what helps differentiate a 5 year old (pictured) from a 7-8 year old is that bottom neck meat. the more it hangs, the older they get for me

I was looking at that and his back arch (or lack there of)

6.5 would be my guess

6 plus. Nose and belly look old.

That's how I age everything. The more it hangs the older it is. I look at deer the same way.

6.5+ for sure

I get the 4, just looking at front portion of body I see a 4 year old, brisket is a 4 year old brisket, belly of a 5, but a white face of a 6-8 year old, but still has a younger look to it somehow. Ears are rounded with fighting scars, so not a young pup. Front shoulders are not as low as I would like on an old deer and he still has some ass to him. Very confusing deer for me. Please let us know once you drop him as I would like to know myself. I'm going to go with 5 but I am not feeling great about it.

His face and eyes look really old to me. His body less so but maybe he's well fed. I'd guess 6 or 7.

100%.....one thing I was always told to look at is the knees and hocks. knees will have hair worn off and the hocks will have some permanent staining.

Unsolicited advice incoming. I'd move those hog pens out quite a bit. Looks pretty cramped in there.

Id got 5.5 on this one

Top deer is 5.

Bottom deer is 6-7

Bottom deer is 7+

I'd go with 5.5 and then 6.5 or older.

I've never seen panels that high on a deer feeder. Are they all that high?

No, the ones you can't see are low enough for us to step over.

As for the pen being small, I believe it was 110 degrees (or at least felt like it) the day we built that, so that probably factored into the final size...
