Looking for quail lease in TX. One primary hunter (myself) with wife hunting also on weekends, holidays. I am retired; she is not. Like to hunt off my horses but follow any rules for a good lease. Have my own dogs and do not need any assistance.

2,000 to 6,000 according to price. If a couple more people want to join in, I can work with it. I live in East Texas, so I am not going to overhunt the place, and I only take a few birds out of a covey at a time or total season. I primarily hunt in Ok and KS but getting really far to drive by myself.

I'll ask around. I'm Executive Director for Quail Coalition so I cover the whole state and come across many landowners. A good quail lease is hard to find for sure. This is shaping up to be the best quail season since 2017 if things hold.
