We're in Highland Haven right now at a friend's house on the lake. The water got up over the dock floor here about an hour ago, but it's dropped a couple inches. I'm wondering what others are seeing.

Water about a foot over our dock now. About as high as it's been all evening. What is the level on Buchanan now? Don't see recent update on LCRA site. I doubt they have to take any action up there but if they do it could change things for the worst on lbj

We were supposed to go up to LBJ for the weekend but canceled this morning. My five year old little girl was so upset because she loves going to the lake. She's been a handful all day, I assume because she's still mad, and I lost my patience a couple of times.Bluto said:
I hear ya. I've been watching the other thread all day. I felt bad talking about it there. I can't imagine what some of those folks are dealing with right now.
Just checked, and water has dropped back down to just about level with dock.

We are on Buchanan and we have a loooong way to go before there is any trouble.

I'm out by Oatmeal which by Bertram close to the Cow Creek area but we also have the San Gabriel river that runs through our place. We already had about 5 plus inches from yesterday and this storm is dumping around 6 inches per hour.
