Howdy! As I walked out of my garage at 6:25 am this morning, I was greeted by the beautiful sunrise in the first picture. I took out my phone and snapped the picture, then I quickly got on my trike and quickly got to another place on my route that would be more sky, less neighborhood. To my great joy, there was the second picture for me. As I took it, I thanked the Lord for such magnificent beauty and proof that He is in His Heavens. Then, I thanked Him for assigning today's sunrise to the girls of Heaven's 27. Only they could have done such a breathtaking sunrise for His creation here in Texas.
He is ALWAYS there and His Heaven's 27 are right there in His Beatific Vision! God bless you all, and I hope and pray that you receive these pictures and His Peace and Grace as I have. Marsha Fairchild=Mark's wife.

At the Vista Camp closing yesterday several campers racing in war canoe dedicated their boat to Dick Eastland. War canoe is a big deal at Vista. To steal a line from Bill Burr, for the kids racing in it the lead out to the race is like being in the tunnel at the Rose Bowl. It's wildly intense with hundreds of spectators.

Without too much detail, each camper gets about five seconds to announce as loud as they can who they dedicate their seat in the canoe too right before they push away from the dock and move to the starting line. There were other names from Mystic that I wouldn't recognize, but I heard Eastland's name over and over from the campers. It was very touching. Third term last year was supposed to start at Vista on Jul 6. Obviously that didn't happen.
