How long do you want to ignore this user?
Researching a supressor for the 6 arc. Interested in flow through design to reduce gas blow back.

I've read a lot of good things about huxwrk and their 556k, they make a 6k version but little out there besides what's on their website.
I also have read a lot of good things on CAT supressors and they have the Noah for 6mm. But again not much info on it but on a lot of their other ones.

Anyone running either or have other flow theough supressor thoughts?

Look into the otter creek polonium 5.56. It's a 6mm can and can take 6mm arc. Very good sound and not expensive.

I have two huxwurx flow 7.62 and they are absolutely awesome cans whether on my old AR-10's or on my 5.56 SBR they just plain are great. I also have a OCL polonium, it's a heavier can than the flow but 1/3 the price. It does great on suppression of 5.56 in the SBR and is rated for 6mm. But I have found it is probably one of my gassier cans, seems like a lot more gas in my face with it.

I love my huxwrx 7.62 titanium. It does well on 6.5 cm and 556. So I'm imagining it would be good on 6mm. I know a can for the exact caliber is best but not sure its really worth it over the flexibility of a 30 caliber.

Between your listed choices I would go CAT Noah 100%

Can you expand on that?

I'd be waiting and getting one of these: https://ottercreeklabs.com/product/infinity-7-62/

Sure. Nothing wrong with hux, but I am willing to bet the only difference between the 6mm flow and their 5.56 or other flow designs is the size of the bore. While that can help some, its not going to be designed and optimized for 6mm arc.

The CAT guys are insane in the best possible way, and they are intentionally building cans designed for specific things with specific cartridges. I've heard good things about their Noah can from a guy who ones one, and every single can of theirs I've heard in person has been very impressive.

So between the two you listed, if I was buying a can for a 6mm arc rig I would go with the suppressor designed specifically to suppress 6mm arc.

Thank you I appreciate the info. I guess that might explain why there is tons of info on the huxwrk flow 556k and not the flow 6k.

I have other cans for the 30 cal which is why looking for specific for the 6mm. I also think that a 6 arc AR15 with a flow through supressor would be good for the kids if they want to hunt or precision shooting. A low recoil, quiet, and non-gassy rifle would be ideal.
