No skin in this game other than to say I've fished w Dylan probably 6-10 times. He's a great guide, can't recommend him enough. Somebody should jump on this trip. He got me started when I was just getting into the salt water fly game.

I wish I could fish w him now to say thanks and show him how much his foundational work helped to advance me along my own journey.

Lucky to have my own skiff now and fish almost exclusively w my fishing partner so rarely take a guide, but Dylan taught me so much about how to throw the fly, how to feed the fish, and even gave my son a free 15 minute baseball lesson one day at one of the lake ramps.

I've fished him in Rockport for reds, Decker lake for bass, and a few float trips down the San Marcos for sunfish and Guad bass. Of all of them, those San Marcos trips were special.

I fished with Dylan this last weekend. He's a fantastic guide and we had a blast despite non ideal weather conditions. If I was free I would jump on this trip. Anyone who is looking to experience fly fishing and sight casting tailing reds would love this trip.

I fished with Dylan early on when he was only doing Guad trips. He's a great guide and a humble person. We had to pry some baseball stories out of him. Somebody living near the Texas coast needs to jump on this offer!

Especially on the off chance LRA actually catches some redfish and posts those pics

JK LRA, everybody is hoping for the best for your pup. I've had to think about this same situation before when we had our lab. I'm positive that taking action is a good thing and pray that it continues to work out. Glad you posted the story so we can all learn from the incident and be more prepared for when it happens to us.

I think I saw you guys in Lighthouse today. It was an awesome day! Not too many days like this in the Spring.

Fish were thick. My angler had a 28" trout on for a minute before it shook the fly and came unbuttoned

Biggest black drum I've ever caught, swimming in 12" of water w his back sticking out. Caught about 10 redfish on a day w 30 mph winds. Complete blast!

I've always said those are some of the best fish on a guide trip because you can make them any size you want.

Exactly! Kept getting bigger as we got back to the ramp.

It's called the 30 mph wind fly. Supposed to look like a soft plastic on a jig head, but it is tied out of liberal pubes and tears cemented with spinal cord tissue from tards
