How long do you want to ignore this user?
i've got a Luling double lid offset smoker i bought from Texas Original pits some seven or eight years ago.

great pit, but i just saw they suddenly closed shop late last fall.

i want to buy some new grates that will fit that model, anybody know what happened to these guys and if they have any leftover inventory?

they had excellent customer service for new grates, thermometers etc.

appreciate any info on them and/or source for new grates etc of equivalent quality.
We're from North California, and South Alabam
and little towns all around this land...

Those are pretty standard smokers and well built. For the ones I have restored, I usually buy expanded metal in a heavy gauge and cut it to fit. I buy much heavier stuff than they usually come with. It's nothing special that you can't get at a metal supplier unless you have angle iron on it for slide outs or something. Even that isn't tough to build for a welding shop. Where are you located? You near SA?
