Last year the grubs got my st augustine. When should I put out the granules?

If you see damage you're a week late.

If you remember roughly when you started to see damage last year, aim for a few days before that.

Edit to say it would also depend on the active ingredient in the product… and the label should have good recommendations based on zone.
