Ok boys and girls, DVM is in a small bind. I am having a surgery next week (I am officially old), and apparently I need a "health update" from a MD and it needs to be submitted ASAP.

Fortunately, I have been fit as fiddle for 53 years and don't really have a primary care physician (lots of Emergency, Cardiology, Urology and soft tissue surgeons are good friends), but I need just a general GP.

Can anyone help a brother out?

Cherry Chau is not far from you......after not having a PCP for 20 years I also decided to get one and have been happy with her.

Can you just run by one of those walk-in, Doc-N-The-Box places and get a CBOH from an MD there?

Maybe you will have better luck, but the times I have been to those clinics there isn't an MD available, only NP or PA.

Just book a virtual appointment through Kelsey Seybold. Should take you 5 minutes to schedule and the visit shouldn't take much longer than that. If you have to go in, there's a Kelsey on Hwy 6 in Missouri City.

I've always been happy with Kelsey Seybold for primary care, labs, and pediatrics.

There are a couple near my house that have MDs, and they've become our defacto Dr offices at times...because for a while there, it seemed like our kids purposefully got sick outside of normal office hours.

On Post Oak so not in the burbs, but he has an excellent program for a comprehensive annual, including the treadmill stress test and blood work. Has always been quick and on time with appointments.

Dr Margaret Umah in Sugar Land was my PCM when I lived down there, and she's great.
