I booked this hunt for myself and 4 friends after we did this hunt in 2024 3rd rifle. The lodge is a palace and the on site chef is 5*. Check out the web site if interested. It's a tough place to get a hunt booked as the same hunters get dibs on returning every year, we had to wait a couple years on wait list b4 we got to hunt. 85% Hunter success annually. We got two bull elk last year, and two guys had shots that could have been made but they did not shoot bc of cow elk behind target in one case and lack of confidence w 300 yd shot in another. 4 day hunt/lodging/food guides 1:1 is 10K. I can knock it down to 9K each for an Ag that takes the 3-5 spots. My deposit is down, so if I don't pass this along to someone, the other 4 guys will be finding a replacement for just my spot

Why am I bailing?
BOTH my kids announced this weekend they getting married fall 2025. From what I hear my wife and kids will need me to be present to help in many ways.

Dates?

This place can accommodate the range of huntersphysical capacity . I'm 62 and hiked no more than a few hundred yards but some in are group were 30 yrs old and hiked all day

What size bulls are we taking? I know there is no guarantee but is this a place where top end is 320" or do they have bulls that get 360"+?

I'd check the website or call and talk to John Zeigman for that info. I saw some huge racks at 500-600 yards but I'm not great at estimating score.

I wish I could even look into something like this now, but for those that can, it would probably be to your benefit of trying to sell it if you listed the website in the OP rather than make other people do it. Just my 2 cents.

We hunt 12,000 private acres. Whole lodge is reserved for max 5 hunters at a time /12,000 acres to yourself

Last year we took an elk that scored 358". The average bulls are 5-6 points and each year we probably average about 4 animals that score greater than 300 inches. Mostly 280-290
Inches. Most shots 100-300 us. 300wm most effective round.
