Pre-Garcia Sako L579 Deluxe Forrester in .308. Gave to my dad for Father's Day in 84 or 85 and inherited it from him. Will pass on to my son and grandson.

Nothing sexy here. Started using a Ruger American .308 topped with a Nikon on and off last season. Bought the package from a friend years ago for $400.

The ammo is older than probably 50% of the OB posters. Doesn't matter, it kills stuff.

Pre 64 Model 70 Featherweight. Been using it for 43 years and it still drives tacks.

That's not possible. You don't know what you're talking about. I kid…I kid. Came across an interesting article a few years ago, discussing the life of a barrel in actual real time for projectile down the barrel. It stated that on average depending on caliber, around 3000 rounds was approaching a round count where accuracy could start to be affected. The part that was astounding was once again based on velocities, that time was approximately 6 seconds. Never thought of it in those terms. Pretty amazing. Hope your pre 64 makes it another 43 years!

I need to pick a new scope for my Bergara HMR in .308.

Dropped an old Trijicon 5-20 i had laying around from a trade on it and I really don't like it. Going to something with a better reticle, less magnification and less weight.

I love my Ruger SFAR suppressed. It's a great shooting weapon.
