Howdy all, going on a spring break trip with young kids and looking for recommendations on what to do in the Estes area during that time. Weather looks like mostly winter, and I've only previously gone in the summer.

I would appreciate any recs on tubing, snowshoeing, fly fishing, etc would be most welcome. We love skiing but the littles and it's not super close to resorts.

We've never been in the early spring before

The sledding in the park is at Hidden Valley

Closest skiing is Eldora, I think

Fly fishing through either Kirk's or Estes Anglers

Trout Haven usually does outdoor ice skating in the winter - not sure the window for that

There are a zillion trails that you could snow shoe.....daily rentals can be done at Estes Park Mountain Shop....the staff there is awesome and they can give great recs as well

You can also rent cross country skies there and go out to Wild Basin portion of the park

Have fun.....it's one of my favorite places on earth

Visit the Stanley Hotel?

But seriously, love that area but never been this early in the season. If I was going this time of year, I'd look into the Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA property.
