In 2020 I bought a right handed Winchester Model 70 Safari Express .375 H&H with the intention of forcing myself to shoot right handed. I looked for a bit for a lefty at first but even the right handed guns were difficult to find. I tried my best to switch to shooting right handed but I can't do it. Then I started shoot this one left handed and gave it the old reach across to load the next round but have decided to just search for a left handed rifle.

I thought maybe they would be easier to find today vs 5 years ago but when I search they are still very scarce and do not last long.

Does anyone have any advice on how to track one of these down? Set a time each day to search online? Call the bigger dealers and offer a finders fee if they come across one?

Any help is appreciated.

Am I understanding you want the rifle you mention above in a left hand configuration? So a Winchester Model 70 Safari Express in that cartridge and left hand?
This past week end there was some classic left hand model 70's listed in the Rock Island Auction. I saw a left handed model 70 in .375 but don't remember if it was a SE.
You might try looking at the next RIA coming up to see if they have one listed. I have also seen some lefty Model 70's on Guns International and Gunrunner auctions.
The big Weinenmacher show in Tulsa is coming up and I could almost guarantee there will be somebody with one there.

Maybe consider expanding your search to cz550s or even commercial mauser builds? Might be some pretty interarms ones out there? Include 458, rigby, and 9.3x62 as options?

I appreciate the referral though I think this left the OP confused. He reached out to me about switching his RH to LH. While that sounds intriguing, it's not an option.

My advise is to sell the backwards made rifle and get one (custom or commercial) more to his liking being a southpaw and all.
