Howdy, Live in Rockport. All of a sudden our yard as been infested with Moles. In the past we have been able to kill the occasional mole with the Victor Mole pellets, not now, really tearing up our yard. Have also used the Mole Exterminator traps. There are just too many now. Do we need grub killer, if so, what brand from DIY Pest would you recommend? What else can be done? The bind I am in is that we have a TOTAL ban on yard watering due to the drought, so gotta wait to apply when rain is in forecast, which it is not, but want the product on hand, gotta rain again someday does it not?

just got me one of these to try out....no digging and the indicator on it make me take a gamble with it......going to try it out this weekend when i get back home.

I had a mole infestation when I lived on the island in Corpus. Our landlord installed a sprinkler system and, believe it or not, regular watering solved the problem. They live in extremely sandy soils. The watering screws up their burrows and they will apparently move to adjoining, drier properties.

I dunno. Sounds like a wive's tale to me, but it worked!

We are under "no watering at all" conditions.

Had pretty good luck with GopherHawk. Got recommendation from a coworker in CA that used it successfully.

Yep, friend in rockport had big time pocket gopher problem and only solution was animal on animal violence.
