So many rifles in 7BC, sounds like it could be a good round and viable against the 7PRC. I had a friend tell me that the commercial loads for the 7PRC were starting to lack because Federal bought or owns the powder the original 7PRC loads had? So Federal cornered the market and is taking advantage, who knows..

But to have those ballistics and the recoil it does is intriguing, curious what others think. Especially you long range shooters.

I have read that the prc is much more accurate than the bc. and that will be the downfall of it.

I watched a video with that guy above shorting a horizon 16" barrel in 7BC. The ballistics, low recoil, and short barrel make it extremely appealing for a new build for me.

I think the advancement of 3d printing and microization of the optics (PCBs, batteries, emitters, etc) is still ripe for advancement.

I saw a video (will post link when I find it) where a company is selling the internal parts as a drop in (like the new Ruger/magpul glock clone) and providing the customer the STL file of the handgun frame so they can design and print to their desire. Cool that you could priny a "g17" frame to the exact shape of your hand.

I also think (like all electronics) there are some cool things in concept just waiting for the next generation of silicone or battery tech to make it viable at affordable consumer pricing. NV, thermal, etc...

The small mailbox optic for pistols or BU sight on rifle that was thermal was super cool.

Thermal Optic

The red dot that changes reticles based on if you have the magnifier flipped was cool too. Circle/dot when at 1x and the the magnifier is flipped behind and the reticle changed to BDC hold overs. Cool.

I can't believe that tiny thermal is only $700

would love to see someone come out with a very innovative inline shotgun suppression.

It's pretty cool, especially at that price point. I do wonder if it has zoom on it though. I didn't hear anything about zoom but also scrolled through really quick this morning.

Hell yeah. Great backup option when hunting skinwalkers (or being hunted by) in the Serengeti during a new moon.

We are also entering the new phase of all in ones with low budget thermals in general. This one has been making waves for about 1100 MSRP. It's digital but still, seems to be punching upward a bunch for the price point and first reports from private users seems real positive so far.
