Do not give up on that deer. I've followed "one-horned" bucks (different side of antlers btw) that fully recovered and ended up being VERY nice deer. He could be a show-stopper in the future.

You can clearly see a break in his right G1. Also on his left G3, it splits at the beam and that is broken. Why doesn't the right branch look discolored?

Broke off. Look for the broke side. Taxidermist can work magic.

So for legal purpose argument or answer I guess. My county has extended season for does and unbranched on one side. I've got two bucks on camera running around with one antler broke of just above base. Obviously I get that if they've made it through season to wait till next season and take a good deer. Just wondering the legality of it all since not naturally one point ( stated in guide: unbranched is buck antler with no more then one point on an antler)

Yep. After a fight like that they would need to go into concussion protocol for a few weeks.
