Been watching it for the last week. Forecast has been pretty consistent so far. Planning to head north in hopes of ducks. Calling for 5-6 days of highs 30/ lows 10s in OK and AR.

These forecasts are always fun to me. 20 days out, the models flip flop between a Siberian style winter and records high temps. 14 days out they settle on lower 10's in Texas. Then, ultimately, we end up in the lower 30's and everything quietly disappears off social media.

I hope I'm wrong. Would be nice to get some actual winter weather.

I hope you are right, 35 degrees is as low as I want to see it this year.

We actually kind of dislike the cold. It's fine inside with the fire, but feeding animals and morning/evening chores sucks below 60. The weather so far has been fine, but I do enjoy a change of pace....cold, snow, hail, severe weather...just something to mix it up a little. Where we are, we don't even really get rain, so it's just blazing hot and dry, or cool and dry. Cold fronts and rain squalls usually set up well east of us. It's like Aggie Dome over here.

I'll pass on the freezing weather this year. Don't want to deal with the plants in the yard again. It's been a rough couple of years on our landscapes.
