The one I linked is good to 270 ft2. My super uses one in his RV at deer camp out near Sonora and says it has no problem heating it and keeping it warm all night long.Jabin said:
Interesting. Any idea what BTUs those put out? Emissions? They also seem tiny - they're advertised for heating a car, which is much smaller than even a room, and even with that small a space they burn 1 gallon diesel per night.
Or am I missing something?
A gallon of diesel is pretty efficient. My predator 3500 will use about 1.5-2 gallons of gas over an 8-10 hour period overnight with a medium load.
I'm betting they make bigger ones. But for the purposes of heating a room, its a pretty solid option IMO. 270 ft2 would be a pretty substantial bedroom or living room. Except on texags of course.
