The rifle, itself is probably equivalent to a $500-$600 SPS. The stock (a $200-$250 Magpul) doesn't necessarily detract from the value, but I wouldn't say it ADDS significantly, either. It's obviously not a McMillan/HS Precision/etc, so…..
The Bipod might be $70-$100, new, so only about a $50 "add".
You don't see lots of factory threading on older magnum contour barrels, so I'm assuming this was done later??
I'll also mention than 7mm Mag isn't nearly as popular as it was, say, 20 years ago.
Yes, it would cost about $1000-$1100 to "replicate" this rifle (before scope), but the demand for a 7mm Mag rifle with a cheaper "plastic" stock, probably makes it a $700 rig, at best, on the used market.
The Viper's were decent scopes, and could push $700-$1000 in the higher powers, when new, but Vortex has subsequently made a Gen II, and a "HD". Therefore, I really doubt the scope is worth more than $300-$350 on the used market, unless it is one of the later iterations.
I'd say it's a ballark $1000 rifle scope combo, unless it's got a $300 trigger in it, that's a special aftermarket coating on it, or the barrel is a high $$ aftermarket. Yes, you might get $1200 from someone, but again, most folks want a 6.5 Creed or PRC, or something else, these days.
That's my opinion, take it for what it's worth.
