Shot this precision machine today. While sighting it in for the first time I stacked shots on each other from 100 yards. Easily 1/2 MOA. Honestly the whole rifle is a stud with the fit and barrel but 90% of this rifles enjoyment is the trigger. So sweet. Such a great break point. I ordered one of their triggers for my son's Ruger 6mm ARC after I shot this. It's like night and day.

Purty! Now I see why you didn't start the jeep or put batteries in the field feeder camera.

Bought it from Larue. They put out a Black Friday special for two rifles in this FDE color. A 5.56 and a .308. Bought them and sold the 5.56.

Honest question, is the cantilever mount placement a look preference, or functional? Not a knock at all, just never seen one used like that.

In all honesty that's how that scope/mount came into one of my shops and it's how I mounted it on my last Ruger .308 and then just switched it to the Larue today. So it was not done for look or function. And now I'm googling if it effects function.

Yes, the trigger is crisp and is the reason why my custom built 6.5 Grendel shoots bottlecaps at 100 yards. Well, I have to give credit to a great barrel head spaced to the bcg with an adjustable gas block, among other things. But I love that trigger La Rue makes. Texas made , Texas tuff, Just exoodes TX craftsmanship! Well, done Mr. LaRue! Plus the God Bless Snipers Sticker that came free is a nice tribute to the fallen, the active duty, and the ones to be called to defend Freedom and Liberty! Thank you all! Merry Christmas Brothers

I love LaRue's trigger. I've used them in just about every AR I've built for the last 10 years or so.

Is this the same trigger that everyone here and in the other thread are raving about?

I've already added it to my cart but just haven't hit go yet. I think a second thread on the same topic must be a sign!

I don't believe so. I think this is the first series MBT trigger. The one I bought and in that link is their second two stage trigger which is supposed to be even better.

You are correct. Just got my boys trigger in and it's the same. Makes sense why I liked it so much.

I think Larue only makes one trigger with 2 different shapes, straight or curved.

I put a straight in my AR and love it.

I was confused because their website just says MBT Trigger when you look at the rifles they sell but the triggers they sell separately say MBT-2s. So naturally I thought there was a second generation.

Up until two years ago you could buy a complete upper directly from Larue for $700. Partners that will any mil spec lower and a Larue trigger and you had a tack driver for under $1000 out the door.

Great product and very accurate AR platform rifles
