99% of what i make is custom-made-to-order. This desk is actually part of a swap i am trading for a whitetail hunt. Im trying to pimp one hobby to support another

I was going to say that if you have too much free time, I'll invent more needs and orders something else. My two end tables are so freaking sweet. I'm having glass tops delivered today to protect them.
We will be consulting on a pedestal for an elk mount I have soon, can't wait to discuss the project!

not related really...do you still do end grain cutting boards. Think I bought the biggest one you had a few years back and I always have people ask me where I got it.
If I say it looks like complete sheet, it's pure jealousy.

Are the legs stained mesquite? Or walnut? Mind showing how you did the cross section for the legs? Is it just a cross lap joint?

price can vary a good bit, especially as you get into higher character and single slabs.
generally, this style (not full cabinets) you are around 3k. but if you wanted a high character walnut slab top, that could easily add 2-3k to the price tag.

The legs on the mesquite desk are from the same walnut tree as the base on your table/bench and the top of your bench

I lost a very cool desk (very different from this one) to Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and had agrams build me a new one when I moved back into my house in 2020. Everyone that walks into my office stops and softly touches it like the crown jewels the first time they see it.
"Nice desk huh? Here, pull up an ottoman and check it out. Let me crack open the steam valve on my lamp so you can get a better look"
