No way I'm paying name brand price for one of these things. Seems like it would be awesome in the duck blind with a bag of pellets. Are there any of the cheaper ones that are good?

Have a real one. Haven't tried pellets. It is okay at best. Does what it says but not sure it is worth the cost. I would try a knockoff

Thanks. Have some that are life savers. Still not like an actual fire though. Would also use it to grill sausage in the blind.

I'm with you but there's some days that the comforts can keep you out there for more hours.

And we still like to occasionally fight the all night public thing where a fire is really nice.

Was thinking the 19". Inside floor of blind is about 6'x14'. Will hunt four plus room for one to two support staff.

Definitely buy the heat deflector, it makes all the difference. Solo stoves produce a tremendous amount of heat but do a terrible job of radiating it, it all goes straight up.
