I have been chasing deer hard this year. Had a couple draw hunts in Oct and spent a ton of days in a saddle. Then rifle season got here and there was a lot of promise in a few bucks we were seeing at night. Only to have 2 of the 3 have broken tines by Nov3rd. But was suprised by a buck that had 1 picture taken that wasn't great (kinda blurred) but looked good. I hunted yesterday with only a few small bucks seen and no real "action". With determination I was back again this morning and again nothing showed up, so I rattled. 1st a small buck came in then a very big deer appeared on a trial that leads out of the woods into the pasture. I thought I made a good shot but he was in full sprint so I sent another and dumped him. Hit ended up being great left to right by about 2" low and did take out the front leg. It always amazes me how tough they are
