I have two boys, currently freshman and 7th grade
I realize I have but a hand full of fall hunting seasons left with them and want to max out our time and make some memories together.
I want to take them on some hunting trips/adventures and am looking for ideas, recommendations, outfitters etc
We have land that we dove and deer hunt on, but the deer are very lacking and I would like for them to both get a trophy buck one day.
Both boys are big bird hunters and are good shotgunners

The challenge always is the fact that they both are football players and it always is difficult to make time until maybe December to get some stuff accomplished.

Thanks

Crane/Goose/Duck hunt in the panhandle with Sea to Sky outfitters. Book at least 3 days to allow for a slow day. I've never been disappointed in using them. Have gone 4 years in a row and have year 5 booked this December

When my boys were teenagers, they loved to bird hunt. You should try the TYHP upland and waterfowl hunts. They are word class and very economical. And the TPW Youth and Youth/Adult Waterfowl Drawing / Postcard hunts.

My dad and I have a property in Gonzales, Texas. We are both former students.
It is a MLDP so you can hunt through January.

It's high fenced white tail deer hunts. We have great genetics.

We are working with a guy named Ricky Lester and his place is called Lester Ranch.

We are selling guided hunts for this year, and spots are filling up fast.

Here is the website if you want to check out the photos.

If you are interested I can also share my email.

I can do a cow elk hunt in Colorado. If you want to fly fish that's doable too.

Cast & blast in January around Port O'Conner. Get an outfitter that has airboats, the boys will love the airboat ride through the mangrove swamp.

we just finished a trip to Standing Rock reservation on SD in October. Amazing trip with success on pheasants , sharp tail, ducks , and Turkey. Plenty of public land as well. Highly recommend this trip if they love bird hunting. We did it without dogs.

DIY Wyoming Pronghorn. Target rich environment. Can be as easy or as difficult as you want to make it.

What's your budget? That's really the #1 question to start with. You've currently got suggestions that range from $3k to about a $30-40k Sonora mule deer trip for 2.
