Having lived in Bozeman I am familiar with Murdoch's and it was a great place to grab the stuff that a walmart did not carry. Used to be very affordable and carried the name brands that were synonymous with quality. The stores are so much bigger now and so many more employees that it is not the little family owned business that caters to the working man anymore. They are successful that's for sure. I believe in Bozeman they and tractor supply are both in big buildings next to each other. Reminds me of Gander and Academy here in CS.

I used to talk to managers at gander and ask them how they sold anything when I could get it a dollar cheaper next door. They always said we price match, but some things are a higher quality and look very similar. I could always count on them for ammo. Academy not so much. Now I buy online almost exclusively.

We inadvertently visited the one in Victoria. Only went in with the intention of seeing what they were about, and ended up spending over an hour there. It is much more similar to a Cal Ranch store, if you are familiar with them. Therefore, much, much more than a TS w/guns. The Bucee's/Academy/Tractor Supply combination analogy is pretty accurate.
