Could be in South Texas by the end of the weekend or so.

Last models I saw were half to Louisiana and half to north Mexico.

I'd be super stoked with south Texas hit and a slow rainmaker to the hill country.

Amen.

Yesterday it looked like the models showed it tracking for LA or MS. Then earlier today it looked like Mexico.

Hoping for it to split those two models and be a non-damaging soaker.

Last I read it wasn't expected to make landfall and break up due to the cold front coming down.

Now that it's gone, I've noticed something in this thread and others about hurricanes I don't understand.

It seems people have moved to regions (central Texas and further west) that have traditional low rainfall or even arid environments and then hope for a hurricane that will cause a billion dollars in damage and ruin countless lives so their yard or pods get water they never historically have received.

That's pretty messed up.

Might be because Canyon Lake, Medina Lake, Amistad, Falcon, Choke Canyon, Buchanan and others in that region are at historic lows. That is a big hit to those areas in just loss of revenues on the recreational dollars… businesses etc. Not much to do with yards or "pods".

This storm was never forecasted to be anything other than a rain maker if it made it to the coast. I checked that pretty hard before requesting said storm.

It's November. We're not getting big damaging storms in Texas.
