i built an ar10 years ago and have ran it with no issues till this weekend. gun still shoots great and everything but when i went to eject the bullet at the end of the weekend after hunting, i tried pulling the charging handle back and it was stuck. so banged the stock against the floor while pulling charging handle to get the bullet ejected well the case came out but the projectile was stuck in the barrel.

i have not changed anything on the gun and have not used different ammo(factory hornady ammo). just looking for some info on what could cause this issue all of a sudden?

this. sounds like carbon build up in the chamber.
