Just read where for Brazos and Burleson counties (and others, I assume), antlerless deer may be taken Nov 2-Dec 1.
Four days at Thanksgiving, then first two weeks, now a month. I suppose the data supports it.

It made no sense to have an antlerless 3 weeks then shut it off right before T'giving when a huge number of hunters can make it out into the woods.

Got me excited. Washington Co is still Nov 28 - Dec 1 only when I have to go visit family. Freezer is empty so I'll have to get lucky with a dude.

Ours is Nov1 through Thanksgiving weekend.

Well, technically I suppose it's October through Thanksgivng weekend if you sling arrows. No matter how early we kill does, they are already pregnant becauase rut here is in early to mid September most of the time.
