I'm wanting to get a pop up blind for archery hunting. Seems like tidewe gets good reviews, but I'd like to get some recommendations from folks that have field tested various models. Tia

I bought a tidewe 270 yesterday but haven't ran it yet.

I have a Primos Smokescreen. Great visibility from inside and very durable. We had it set up for 3 weeks and it didn't get destroyed like my last (much cheaper) popup blind. Both of my hunting age boys shot bucks this fall from it during our youth season (not TX). Not archery hunters but the deer didn't seem aware of us even when aiming from a tripod with the window open. Plan to use it during spring turkey season.

i got one of these and really like it. basically has only one bow window unless you really open up the main windows.

Are you planning to leave it up all season or just put it up and brush it in a few times during the season?

If you're leaving it up all season, I'd go with something cheaper and expect to replace it in 1-2 seasons. Rogers makes some cheap ones (~$100) that aren't bad. I'm running one of them right now.

Double Bull (primos) makes some of the better blinds out there if you're looking for something to keep longer.

Probably doesn't matter a whole lot which brand you get. Get one big enough you are comfortable in and can move around in.

No matter what, you will have to youtube how to fold the damn things back up. I do. Every.Single.Time.

They've been up / out for 3 years in west Texas and are all still in great shape, just a little sun bleached. They've actually been more durable than the wood blinds. No wind damage, none have blown over.

Would personally rather spend $100 on a tidewe.

If I'm spending >$500 on a blind, I'm getting something permanent and baller.

Double bull is head and shoulders above the rest, imo.

This. I bought a Primos Double Bull Blind for the "warranty". Reality is when you send it in you are at least paying for shipping which is not cheap. Better to buy a cheaper brand and just replace.

I've been really impressed with the xenek snyper blinds. Have two of them from the link below. Love the vertical windows. You get a great FOV and you are in the dark. Also has a bow hook that screws into the top of the hub which is nice.

They are super tall too, can stand all the way up in them which is nice when getting in.

I use Ameristep on platforms i built about 4ft off the ground. I keep it up October through January then pack it away the rest of the year unless i do some other hunting.

Is it snake proof???

I have a Baronnett Prowler that has been up 2 seasons on one property and a Redneck Blinds Soft Side Burlap that I got last year on another. The Prowler is on the ground. It has held up well but will need to be replaced for next year. The Burlap blind is on a platform that I built. Still looks brand new (9 months in).

I have two of these and I love them. You can leave them up all season without worry and it will last for years. I realize you can buy a lot of the cheaper blinds for what one of these costs, but I love the convenience of putting it up and not having to worry about it.
