Do quite a bit of travel trailer camping with wife and kids and pretty much gotta buy ice every other day. Thinking of getting an electric cooler. Do any of yall have one? The prices for these are all over the place.

I've been so disappointed with my YETI coolers as far as holding ice goes. I have to drain water and put new ice in every other day.

I just wanted to try it out because I get tired of all my food getting wet from melting ice. I have only used once but it worked great. If it continues to work well then I may try and get one on wheels.

Probably. Let us know what you think. Mine worked perfect for a weekend at the ranch. I plugged it into a small battery when travelling to and from.

No idea if it makes a big difference but I've heard or read not to drain water. Supposedly helps cooling last longer. Guess it depends what's in the cooler, but beer cans are pretty waterproof.

Weird that the 60 quart is discounted to less than the 32.

I like this .. I don't need one these but I want to have one now that I know they exist .. time to get on Amazon!

Any idea how long it would run on a 12 volt lithium ion marine battery ? Say 100 Ah ?

So I looked this one up.. says 360 Watt hours a day which is about 3 Ah day .. so a 100AH battery would be 30 days ? That seems too crazy but maybe it's correct. I guess it would also depend on how much stuff you have in there so the daily load may vary ?

There's no way that's right. I remember looking at run times because I was thinking about buying a Jackery or some other power station. I don't remember the numbers though. Definitely not 30 days
