I'm looking into entry level but decent thermals. I have an old ATN Thor that I've never been able to get sighted in and the interface is complicated and I basically hate it. Is this a good deal on a good scope? Looking into entry level the $3000 or less range for very occasional use

I have a friend who sells thermals down near Bellville. Check out Medio Creek Thermals, he's a professional hog hunter. Austin County born n breed. Go Brahmas!

You can get the pulsar talion xq35 pro for $2,500 with a great interface and 1 shot zero. Hueyoutdoors.com may still be covering sales tax, get the rtz mount.

Yes, that's an excellent scope for a very good price given the image quality!

I have the high resolution Iray bolt. It's great. The lower resolution one should be pretty good too.

Outdoor Legacy gear just dropped new best of each category awards. You can also call them and tell your needs. They are helpful.

I'm a pretty big fan of this AGM at this price.

I have an AGM Rattler TS35. I bought it 3 years ago for $2,500.

It's great up to 150 yards. After that, target identification gets tough for my eyes.

It's rare for me to hunt past 75 yards with it. We stalk hogs at midnight and if there isn't any wind, they are bacon on toast.

After owning it for a few hunts, the only thing I would change is battery life and refresh rate. When the scopes refresh, its like a 2 second lag time. It's like an old digital camera taking a photo. Everything else is great for its purpose and price at the time.
