Anyone hunt deer with 300blk? If so what has been your experience and what ammo did you use?

For reference any shot with be within 100 yd and there might be one over 13"

I used Barnes 147 grain and have killed quiet a few deer with it.

I have killed quite a few with mine. It is a great option for kids. Both my young boys have taken deer with it. One at 5 years old and one at 6 years old.

I have killed with the hornady subs and then most were with the Winchester Deer Season supers. I have killed many things with those subs, but need to be closer and I wouldn't let kids use it.

I have killed several deer and untold numbers of hogs with mine. I reload and most of them have succumbed to the 125 Nosler Ballistic tip or the Speer 130 Hollow point. Both do a great job at 300 BLK velocities. I keep my shots under 200 yds, most under a 100.

Did once at a buddies ranch. Doe at 80yards 110gr Barnes supersonic. Double lung. Ran about 10yards spun and hit the dirt.
