Do any of you plan on picking up the new H&K CC9?

Late to the Micro 9 party but it's undergone some series testing and looks to be a rock-solid carry option

Do people typically like an ambidextrous mag release? Seems like a recipe for dropping a mag at the wrong time.

Interesting you bring that up when most H&K pistols come with a paddle release (which is effectively ambidextrous) but H&K USA went with the push button release in this model likely to try to appeal to US shooters

I will buy one immediately. I have a P30SK and love it. I carry it occasionally. I have a Sig P239 and love it. I carry it almost every day including today.

Looking for a lighter option I finally bought a Sig P365 just a couple of weeks ago from a guy off this board. I like it as a range gun but man that trigger is just a bit too light for me to AIWB carry. I know I know, just get the right holster and I am sure that is right.

But I have been looking forward to this one for a while. I will buy it as soon as I can.

The main reason to buy an HK was the paddle or heel release, IMO.

For some reason, I tend to bump push button releases while carrying. Paddle magazine releases are locked into place by most holsters.

No idea why they would change.

It's .4" thinner and 5oz lighter than a P30SK, so it's impressive that they thinned it down so much, and got it lighter.

Ah man I just saw that. I didn't realize they had changed it. That is my favorite feature on the P30. Hopefully at some point they will make that an option.

I will still get it but that is disappointing.

It has a removable FCU so we could see additional grip modules in the future including one with a paddle.

I wonder what they're going to do for mags if they plan to have a paddle and a button grip module. My past hks with a paddle had a ledge on the front of the mag body instead of the normal notch on the side of the button release guns I've seen
